Too cute!

Caleb had his 3 month pictures taken this morning. I'm not sure if it's legal or not to scan and post them here, but that's what I did! We have lots of (legal) prints of the top picture that we'll distribute to family when we see you next. For friends that want one, just let me know!

May events

This month is flying by. Here are some of the reasons why!

With the warmer weather, Noah has been to the park. It's fun to see how much more he can do there this year than last year.
Mother's Day! What can I say? I have the two sweetest boys in the world! (sorry to all you other moms out there) :)

We went to Michigan for Aly's bridal shower. Here she is with my brother, Dan. The wedding is coming up soon -- June 15th!

To get to the shower, we drove on Dutton Rd. I felt like a celebrity.

We sold our Saturn to Dan and Aly. As is our tradition, we took a parting photograph to ease the pain of saying goodbye. Goodbye great gas mileage! Goodbye no car payments! At least we can still visit it whenever we want.
Caleb has been changing a lot this month. He's becoming very smiley and social. He holds his head up, makes all kinds of baby babbles, rolls over, and puts his fist in his mouth, to name a few of his discoveries. He recently weighed in at 13 lbs 12 oz!

3 months old!

Last week

We had many picture-worthy events this past week. The first is that I FINALLY got the crib ready for Caleb, so he moved from his basinette into the big crib. It only took 2 months!
Noah is getting interested in drawing. We still can't tell if he's going to be right or left handed. He specializes in scribbles and dots.

Caleb went to the zoo for the first time on Friday! Here he is sleeping next to the flamingos.

The most interesting event of the day was Noah accidentally dropping his sippy cup into the otters' water. It created much excitement both for the otters and for all the people watching. Oops! (No, we did not recover the sippy cup. Noah said a tearful "bye bye water" and we moved on.)

Noah cheered up when he got to pose next to this gorilla statue.

I just liked this picture... reading books with my boys!

On Saturday, Caleb and I attended a very nice shower for Brett's cousin Krissy. We got to meet Caleb's cousin, Nathanael, who was born 4 days after Caleb. (They share the same middle name -- Brooks!) Grammy was in baby heaven! Caleb is on the left and Nathanael on the right.
That's all for now... thanks for reading!
