Beach Vacation

Here are some pictures of the vacation we took to Stone Harbor, NJ a few weeks ago with some of Brett's side of the family -- his parents (Grammy & Pap) and brother and wife (Brad & Kelli). It was a really great trip!

One day, Grammy and I took the kids to the Cape May zoo. We saw some giraffes among other things, which was exciting because the Columbus zoo doesn't have giraffes. Noah is still talking about the giraffes he saw.

The weather was barely warm enough, but we managed to get in the water a few times. Noah loved it!

First day, part 2

Noah is home from preschool and it appears to have been a success! It's a little difficult to get reliable information from Noah, so I don't know too much about what went on. He seemed happy when I picked him up, and ate a huge lunch when we got home. Here's what Noah said about preschool (keep in mind that these things may or may not have happened!):
"slide"
"Miss Adams"
"goldfish" (snack)
"pee Pull Ups"
"Have fun at preschool? Yeah!"
"monkey stamp!" (on his hands)

It's a very strange feeling for me not to know what Noah did all morning. I suppose I'll get used to it though. Fortunately, he said he wants to go back again tomorrow!

First day of preschool

Brett and Noah just left to drop Noah off at preschool. I'm not sure what to do with all my nervous energy, so I'm writing this post! Here are the pictures we just took of him:

Brett just called to say Noah was successfully dropped off, and there were no tears (on Noah's part, anyway!). What a nerve-wracking day for parents!

At least I still have Caleb here with me. He is becoming adept at rolling around.

Caleb started eating sweet potatoes a few days ago. He does not like them and spits them out. We may be in trouble! If he doesn't like sweet potatoes, we have no hope for green beans!
