It looks worse than it is...

It wasn't a major head wound, but it was his worst yet. The doctor said it didn't need stitches or even a band-aid, but I was concerned that the neosporin would smear all over his car seat on the way home, so the head bandange was the solution. Amazingly, Noah didn't cry much over it. What a tough guy!

Lately when Noah sees Brett on his laptop, he has to join him. This is the same day after the head injury, so you can see that Noah is doing just fine (and the bandage didn't last long).
Caleb will turn 1 this Saturday. What a cute baby! He's growing up too fast.

Caleb did his first painting. Also his first ripping.

For those of you in Columbus, tune in Saturday morning at 6 am to Channel 10 news to see this picture of Caleb on TV! What? You will be asleep then? Ok, then tape it.
No new pictures of the new house. The foundation is done and the framing should begin near the end of this week.

Boys and house

Many of you have been curious about Noah riding the bus home from preschool. Here is a picture of him getting off the bus. Those straps are some kind of seatbelt that hook into the bus seat.

Noah's new obsession: cars. Unfortunately, Caleb loves them too. This leads to frequent conflicts.

They love splashing each other in the bathtub. If this doesn't make you smile, nothing will!

Although I know most of you read this blog for pictures of the kids, some may also be interested in pictures of our new house being built, so I'll post some of those from time to time.

They dug the basement last week.

Then they had to build a tent over the basement to keep it warm enough to lay the cinder blocks for the foundation. (ok, I'm not totally sure on my terminology here, but hopefully you get the point)

Here is what is going on under the tent.

It's pretty exciting to know that this is going to be our home, hopefully for many years to come! By the way, our current home is going on the market tomorrow. Anyone want to buy it?
